Have You Ever Wondered What Makes a Film Noir?

At some point, you’ve probably heard a film being called Noir. You probably think about a dark looking movie that has a certain style about it, but there’s more to a film being Noir. There is actually much more to it than that though. You need a certain cast of characters, and most Noir films feature certain visual styles that you won’t find in most other movies.
So just how do you define a film as Noir? What are some of the most Noir films ever made? All of those questions and more are answered on the infographic below.
