Say you find an image online that you’d like to use in your article, or repost. How do you go about deciding if it’s even legal? The last thing you’ll want is to get sued — so how do you determine if it’s safe to proceed?
Before starting, you’d first need to be familiar with four terms: copyrightfair usecreative commons and public domain. With the help of this flowchart, it’s easy to figure out where you stand with copyright law.
