Cyberchondria is a Real Thing. See a Doctor Not Named Google

Have you ever heard of cyberchondria? No? You’ve heard of hypochondria, though. Well, cyberchondria is just like that, except it comes from people turning the absolute worst doctor to diagnose their issues. I’m talking Dr. Google (which will ultimate lead to you one of the popular sites for self-diagnosis).
While having tons of health information available online is a good thing, it leads to some problems. As it turns out, symptoms of relatively minor conditions overlap with terminal many terminal illnesses. Have a headache? Don’t look up reasons for a headache on Google, or you’ll give yourself a case of cyberchondria and convince yourself that it’s a brain tumor.
In the end, the best thing to do is see a doctor. When something is wrong, the doctor is always your best bet!
