In today’s modern era, smack talk is common. Anonymity on the Internet has allowed people to insult each other with ease. While playing online video games, people are often really terrible to each other because they are just a nickname, not an actual person.
Years ago, things were different. When someone insulted someone else, there was a real name attached. You’d think this would keep people from being too mean to each other, but as these famous writers prove, even the most cultured among us aren’t above a little smack talk!
