3. Flayk: Made for Your family (Free)

Flayk is a family organizer that offers calendar, event, and to-do list sharing with a clean interface. However, this cool tool offers additional features that really make it stand out from similar apps. First, you can set up multiple families. This allows you to organize extended families, teams, and even a group of friends. Each “family” that you create in the app is color-coded so that you can view what you need at a glance.
Next, Flayk offers a nifty reward system. This is convenient for when some incentive is needed for chores and other tasks. The rewards are customized by you and let you track the activities. For instance, your kids can earn points for completing their chores and then redeem them for real rewards if you like.

Flayk is a free app with a premium upgrade listed on their website for $1.99 per month. But, according to the App Store description, the latest update as of this writing (version 1.6) states that the premium features are available for free. So if a reward system sounds appealing and helpful, then Flayk is for you.

You can track birthdays, sync your schedule across devices, and check the daily weather forecast. 5. Picniic (Free)

Picniic is another smart family organizer that gives you a little bit of everything. You can share the family calendar, to-do and shopping lists, recipes and a meal planner, and create group events. What makes Picniic unique is the grid layout and other handy features it offers.
For viewing everything the family needs at a glance, the grid layout of Picniic is both useful and attractive. Each section such as the calendar, to-do lists, recipes, and events are within color-coded boxes. This provides a wonderful view as soon as you open the app.

The Family Locator lets you quickly share your location with the family and know where your kids are at all times. Note, the Family Locator does use GPS which can affect your phone’s battery life. Paid plans start at $11.99 per month.

Don’t Forget Apple’s Free Tools

These apps all come with some sort of premium option, but you don’t necessarily need to spend money to organize your family life using your smartphone. For the best, voice-activated shared shopping lists you can beat Apple’s Reminders app with Siri integration. There are no limitations on users, and you can add items to your shopping list without even unlocking your device.Use Siri and Apple Reminders for the Best Shopping Lists Use Siri and Apple Reminders for the Best Shopping ListsDon't waste your money on a third-party app, just use Apple free iPhone and Mac apps.READ MORE
Apple’s own Notes app has found favor since iOS 9, and now features a refined interface, attachment support, and note sharing with multiple parties. iCloud makes it easy to create shared calendars that you can access from your iPhone, Mac, other organizer apps, and via a web browser.
You can do other things using in-built tools as well: share photos via iCloud Photo Sharing, set up a group chat over iMessage with the Messages app, and even share your iTunes purchases with your family using Family Sharing. None of these are quite as unified as having everything in one place, accessible from one app, but they’re powerful tools — and most importantly free!
